Non-Union Benefits

The Company provides benefit programs that address both the immediate and long-term needs of our employees and their families. Benefits are effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment. To be eligible, you must be full-time (working 30 or more hours per week) and not covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Medical Insurance

Medical Insurance is offered under four levels: Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The Silver and Bronze level plans are considered high deductible health plans (HDHP).

All insurance plans fully cover preventative care, including:

  • Annual check-ups
  • Cholesterol screenings
  • Well-child visits
  • Breast cancer mammography screenings
  • Osteoporosis screenings for women over 60
  • Breastfeeding support
  • Autism screenings for children under 24 months
  • Colorectal cancer screenings
  • Adolescent alcohol and drug use assessments
  • Free immunizations

Healthcare Savings Accounts (HSAs) are available for employees enrolled in a High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP).

Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs) are available for employees enrolled in a Silver or Bronze plan.

Dental Insurance

In-Network Services & Out-of-Network Services include:
  • Preventative Services: 100% covered for both low and high plans
  • Basic Services: 80% covered for both low and high plans
  • Major Services: 50% covered for both low and high plans
  • Child Ortho Services: 50% covered for both low and high plans
Maximums and Deductibles:
  • Individual maximum: $1,500 (high plan) or $1,000 (low plan)
  • Ortho lifetime maximum: $1,250 (high plan) or $750 (low plan)
  • Deductible: $50 individual, $150 family. Both waived for preventative services.

Vision Insurance

Farrell Roofing offers vision coverage for the following:

  • Exams – every 12 months
  • Frames – every 24 months
  • Lenses or Contacts – every 12 months
  • Elective
  • Laser Eye Surgery

Coverage differs depending on whether the provider is in-network or out-of-network

Life Insurance and AD&D Coverage

(Accidental Death & Dismemberment)

The Company provides basic life insurance.

You can purchase up to 5X your annual salary in voluntary life insurance for yourself (up to $500,000).

You can also purchase up to 50% of the life insurance amount that you elect for yourself in voluntary life insurance for your spouse (max $100,000) and $10,000 in voluntary life insurance for your children.

Long and Short Term Disability Insurance

Farrell Roofing provides employees with Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance. Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance pays you a portion of your earnings if you miss time at work because of a disabling illness or injury.

  • Maternity leave
  • Whiplash
  • Surgery recovery
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Sprains or strains
  • Heart attack
  • Stroke
  • Coronary artery disease
  • Back pain

Critical Illness Insurance

  • Receive a payment when you are diagnosed with or experience a covered condition such as Alzheimer’s Disease, heart attack, kidney failure, or stroke.
  • Choose between a $5,000 and a $30,000 benefit amount.

Hospital Indemnity Insurance

  • Receive a payout when you are admitted to the hospital or receive inpatient rehabilitation
  • Receive additional payments when you are admitted to the ICU or have a long-term hospital stay (up to 15 days)

Accident Insurance

  • Receive a payment when you experience a non-work-related accident resulting in physical injury that requires treatment.
  • The payment amount is not dependent on what is covered by your medical insurance.

401(K)

All non-union employees, full-time and part-time, can participate in our 401(K) plan.

Contribution Types
  • Traditional 401(K) Contribution – A traditional 401(K) deferral is taken from your check pre-tax
  • Roth Contribution – A Roth 401(K) deferral is taken from your check post-tax

All new hires are automatically enrolled, and a 6% pre-tax contribution to the plan will be deducted from pay. This may be stopped or changed at any time.

Employee Assistance Program

Feel supported, connected, and rewarded every single day with expert advice, recommendations, and referrals from a confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and convenient access to online resources and tools.

Support for Employees
  • Work-Life Consultations – access to qualified consultants for information, assessment, action planning and resources, educational materials in electronic format, and referral to local
    resources and assistance in areas such as parenting, education, disability, adoption, emotions and stress, and workplace issues
  • Financial Consultations – access to qualified consultants for information, assessment, action planning and resources, educational materials in electronic format, and referral to local
    resources and assistance
  • Legal Services
    • Access to qualified consultants for information, assessment, action planning, and resources, educational materials in electronic format, and referral to local resources and assistance
    • Network Attorney Consultation – access to consultation with network attorneys delivered via
      telephone or in-person to include up to thirty (30) minutes of consultation per legal issue
  • Identity Theft Recovery Services – This service includes a telephonic consultation up to sixty (60) minutes in length with a financial counselor who will help the Member to determine if the Member was a victim of identity theft and recommend options on how to place fraud alerts, freeze credit, file police reports, and conduct other activities necessary to resolve fraud.
  • Telephonic Life Coaching – Ability for participants to partner with a life coach to help address issues, overcome obstacles, and attempt to achieve goals agreed to between the life coach and the Participant

Paid Time Off

All full-time non-union employees (working more than 30 hours per week) are eligible for 10 days (80 hours) of PTO upon date of hire.

On an employee’s 2nd anniversary, all full-time, non-union employees (at least 30 hours worked on average per week) will receive 120 hours of PTO. 

On an employee’s 5th anniversary, all full-time, non-union employees (at least 30 hours worked on average per week) will receive 160 hours of PTO. 

On an employee’s 10th anniversary, all full-time, non-union employees (at least 30 hours worked on average per week) will receive 200 hours of PTO.
