Join us for an 18-hole scramble at Holiday Valley Resort in Ellicottville, NY, benefiting WNYHeroes.
The event will feature ways to play (and donate), such as 50/50 raffles, basket raffles, and mulligan tickets.
Enjoy a day of golf followed by a buffet dinner!
Lodging at the Holiday Valley Inn is provided free of charge.

The mission of WNYHeroes is to provide veterans, members of the armed services, and the widows and children of deceased veterans with access to essential services, financial assistance and resources that support their lives and sustain their dignity.
WNYHeroes Programs
Visit wnyheroes.org to learn more about the following programs as well as those not mentioned below
- Adopt a Hero’s Family: This program provides gifts to veterans, service members, and families who need some extra help during Christmas.
- Hero’s Bridge: This program provides financial assistance to veterans and their families. It provides the veteran with up to 4 months of rent, mortgage, and utilities. The need is constant, the funds are critical.
- Operation B.O.O.T.S: Brings veterans and their families together in a casual, non-clinical, non-threatening setting in safe, fun environments that foster teamwork, networking, and friendship.
- Pawsitive for Heroes: With this nationwide program, WNYHeroes provides service dogs to Veterans in medical need who are medically referred through VA Hospitals.
- Operation Backpack: This program provides backpacks filled with essential school supplies to school-age children in all grades prior to the start of each new school year.
Not Interested in Golfing?
Holiday Valley Resort has a multitude of ways to play in the summertime!
While the golfers hit the course, you’re welcome to relax by the pools, tackle the Aerial Adventure Course, go Mountain Biking, or coast down the mountain on the Mountain Coaster.
3-Pool Complex
Beat the heat and enjoy Holiday Valley’s 3-pool complex and multi-tiered sun decks!
Pool guests will be given a wristband so they can enter and exit the pool area.
There is also a pool at The Inn. Entrance requires your room key.
Mountain Coaster
Similar to a roller coaster but it’s built on a mountain, the Sky Flyer allows one or two riders sit in a “car” attached to rails that pulls them up the hill, and then it follows a zig zagging spiraling path down the mountain.
Aerial Course
Get ready for the ultimate aerial adventure at Sky High Aerial Park, featuring an array of platforms, obstacles, bridges, and ziplines. Challenge yourself on 13 diverse courses, each offering different levels of thrill.
Mountain Biking
Explore the scenic trails that wind through the ski slopes, perfect for beginner and intermediate riders, and enjoy direct access to cross-country trails in McCarty State Forest. Rent an e-bike or bring your own!

Participate in Raffles
Another way to support WNYHeroes is through particpating in the raffles and mulligan tickets the day of the event. Bring your $10 and $20 bills!

Lodging
Is there a checkout procedure?
To checkout, please stop by the front desk.
What time is hotel Check-In and Check-Out?
Check-in time is 4:00pm and check-out time is 11:00am.
Do I need to present any specific information at check-in?
We book the room in your name, so that’s all you need! If requested, a confirmation number can be provided.
Golfing
What is the golf course like?
The relatively level front nine plays longer and is built around a series of ponds and bunkers.
The back nine winds its way through the base of the mountains and provides spectacular views. The fairways are well manicured and narrow and this nine provides a stern test of golf.
Will we have carts or do we walk the course?
All attendees will be provided a cart to navigate the course.
Can we get beverages on the course?
Yes, two beverage carts will be going around the course during golf.
General
I have dietary restrictions. Does Holiday Valley provide alternatives?
Yes! Let us know what your needs are when you RSVP and Holiday Valley will provide another option.
Where do I park?
There are several options, you can park at the Holiday Valley Inn (where you will be staying if you plan to stay overnight), the Tamarack Club, or the Main Lodge. Please note Main Lodge parking fills up quickly.
What is there to do in Ellicottville?
Ellicottville is Western New York’s playground for outdoor fun and adventure. With over 24 shops, 23 bars and restaurants, and 2 ski slopes, all within walking distance, you won’t have to travel far to have the perfect visit. Enjoy great golf, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, paddle boarding, and kayaking. Then come back to the village for an amazing meal or to pick up that unique gift at one of the many eclectic shops.
